AH weekly reflection

Amari Howell Senior Project  Reflection  4/16/22 So the beginning of my week doing my Senior Project which is the goal to workout, eat nutritious or healthy foods, and practice on the basketball court I learned about really being committed to the things I listed so I felt like I just had to go harder to learn and to get to my goal. I learned about time management because you have to find times and ways to get the same amount of work in the weight room and basketball court then have enough time to eat because that is important especially after you have worked out for large amounts of hours.  Yes I loved what I was doing that’s the reason I picked to this as my Senior Project because basketball is a big part of my daily life and I play at a high level which is very intense with lots of good players too you have to always be in the weight room as so you can keep completely with everyone in the world so the weight room has also become a love of mine. Amari Howell Senior Project  Reflection  4/25/22 So this week I learned about being determined and being dedicated because some days I didn’t feel like waking up to workout because some of time I felt very tired from the of intense workouts everyday and the days before so I had to put my mind into a place to get ready everyday with the same high energy so I would basically think about the work paying off especially because of the support and things my parents done for me along as well being there to show my trainer I’m here to work. I loved what I was doing because this is something I enjoy and take very seriously so it was a good opportunity for me to do this everyday. Working out and playing basketball is basically my whole life and is what I deadicated  my time sometimes so it’s something I very much love to do. This week everything went well. AH workout

Today it was a successful day but first I will tell how my day started. I woke up at around like 10am a little later today because of the workout I had yesterday at the gym so I had to get some sleep in order to be ready for my workout today before I leave to school. At like 11am I had a protein shake, fruits, and water which was fine because I wasn’t that hungry because the protein shake is already like food. I left the house at 12, arrived at champion at 2 because there was many cars on the road but I put in some work as soon as I arrived and left around 5 so 3 hours of a good workout. When I went to the crib I had some steak tips, water, and a protein shake along with some playoffs coming on the tv.

I woke up today around 7am to some breakfast of bacon, fruit, and oatmeal along with an energy bar to start the day. Once I was done eating I started to get ready to go to my workout which was 25 minutes away but I waited until 11ish to actually leave. When I arrived at champion where I workout at, I read the schedule of what I was going to be doing today. The workout today was a mix of everything for my whole body including mainly lower, that took about 3 hours because after I chose to workout a little more. I left the facility, as soon as I went inside my house I had a protein shake with some fruits. The workout today was good because I was so tired but I wanted to hoop too so I played a little bit of basketball too for 2 hours.

Today, I came to the gym a little tired because of the workout yesterday I had two workouts which was on the basketball court too. So it was about 12am and I planned to workout for 2 hour then practice basketball. When I was leaving the gym  I noticed I was there until 3 so I wanted to get to the court before at least 5 so I can get home in time for the playoff conference final game. I completed my workout in the gym and on the court so now it was time to eat, chill, and watch the playoff game.

Today I woke up around 7am to get ready to go to the gym. I ate basketball to start day which was an energy bar and some water so I could have some energy in the gym. The drive there was about 25 mins so it wasn’t far. Today was lower body so that’s what I started on for the whole session there and it was very tiring but I enjoyed it. When I went home I had a protein shake then took a little nap.
