AH weekly reflection

Amari Howell Senior Project  Reflection  4/16/22 So the beginning of my week doing my Senior Project which is the goal to workout, eat nutritious or healthy foods, and practice on the basketball court I learned about really being committed to the things I listed so I felt like I just had to go harder to learn and to get to my goal. I learned about time management because you have to find times and ways to get the same amount of work in the weight room and basketball court then have enough time to eat because that is important especially after you have worked out for large amounts of hours.  Yes I loved what I was doing that’s the reason I picked to this as my Senior Project because basketball is a big part of my daily life and I play at a high level which is very intense with lots of good players too you have to always be in the weight room as so you can keep completely with everyone in the world so the weight room has also become a love of mine. Amari Howell Senior Project  Reflection  4/25/22 So this week I learned about being determined and being dedicated because some days I didn’t feel like waking up to workout because some of time I felt very tired from the of intense workouts everyday and the days before so I had to put my mind into a place to get ready everyday with the same high energy so I would basically think about the work paying off especially because of the support and things my parents done for me along as well being there to show my trainer I’m here to work. I loved what I was doing because this is something I enjoy and take very seriously so it was a good opportunity for me to do this everyday. Working out and playing basketball is basically my whole life and is what I deadicated  my time sometimes so it’s something I very much love to do. This week everything went well. Today it was a successful day but first I will tell how my day started. I woke up at around like 10am a little later today because of the workout I had yesterday at the gym so I had to get some sleep in order to be ready for my workout today before I leave to school. At like 11am I had a protein shake, fruits, and water which was fine because I wasn’t that hungry because the protein shake is already like food. I left the house at 12, arrived at champion at 2 because there was many cars on the road but I put in some work as soon as I arrived and left around 5 so 3 hours of a good workout. When I went to the crib I had some steak tips, water, and a protein shake along with some playoffs coming on the tv.

I woke up today around 7am to some breakfast of bacon, fruit, and oatmeal along with an energy bar to start the day. Once I was done eating I started to get ready to go to my workout which was 25 minutes away but I waited until 11ish to actually leave. When I arrived at champion where I workout at, I read the schedule of what I was going to be doing today. The workout today was a mix of everything for my whole body including mainly lower, that took about 3 hours because after I chose to workout a little more. I left the facility, as soon as I went inside my house I had a protein shake with some fruits. The workout today was good because I was so tired but I wanted to hoop too so I played a little bit of basketball too for 2 hours.

Today, I came to the gym a little tired because of the workout yesterday I had two workouts which was on the basketball court too. So it was about 12am and I planned to workout for 2 hour then practice basketball. When I was leaving the gym  I noticed I was there until 3 so I wanted to get to the court before at least 5 so I can get home in time for the playoff conference final game. I completed my workout in the gym and on the court so now it was time to eat, chill, and watch the playoff game.

Today I woke up around 7am to get ready to go to the gym. I ate basketball to start day which was an energy bar and some water so I could have some energy in the gym. The drive there was about 25 mins so it wasn’t far. Today was lower body so that’s what I started on for the whole session there and it was very tiring but I enjoyed it. When I went home I had a protein shake then took a little nap.

Pretty nice day but still super hot it feels because of how muggy and sticky the air was especially while working out. Today I slept in a little later because I was already tired from the workout I did the day before so I needed a little more rest. I slept until 12 then ate some breakfast of fruits and a energy bar to get ready to go to they gym so about 2 I left the house on my way for another day of being in the gym. Spent at least 2 or more hours in the gym leaving around 5ish so was a very productive day again I feel. When I arrived home, I had some breakfast my mom cooked for dinner it seems which was good because I was hungry already.  Sleep- 3 hours Breakfast- 1 hour  Workout- 2 hours Dinner- 1 hour

So I was sick the other week but now I am ready to go ! I went to the gym excited and ready to work. I’ll tell y’all the routine of today tho, first before going to the gym I eat a turkey sandwich with fruits and a drank a water along with a little energy bar for energy. It took 35 mins to arrive because of traffic today but we still put in that work. The workout was mainly the whole body but did a lot of sqauting which was tiring but every rep I made sure to give it my all so then after I arrived at home, I had a protein shake, chicken and macaroni for dinner so yeah that was the day.

Friday I was still feeling a little sick so I continued to stay in my bed and get as much sleep as possible. I put the water as my picture because water is essential and helps everything so I drunk tons of it along with some tea. It was around 70 outdoors, so I did go outside to sit and enjoy the sunlight with my dog so that’s what I mainly did Friday.  5th day Sleep = 4 hours Outdoors = 1 hour  Sleep = 2 hours

Today I woke up not feeling so good so I just stayed in my bed most of the day and tomorrow I think I will be workout. I probably slept for a good amount of hours because when I first woke up it was morning then when I woke up again it was dark but a nice breeze from the warm weather. About 8 I started making some tea and watched a show so that was pretty much my day. 4 hours of sleep Watching tv in bed for 3 hours

Today I went one of the gyms that I usually go to workout at. This gym is I feel is one of the best in the area because of many workouts given and machines you can you use. So what I did today was full body workout and felt like I meet my goal of putting in good amount of working out so I feel like I met my goal which was to get in a good workout.  3 hours at the gym  2 hours of basketball 2 hours of watching documentary

Today I put in some more work at champion facility mainly doing a lot full body. After I’d worked out for 2 hours I was finished and tired because these were very high level workouts plus it was a nice warm day in Boston. At home I drunk and ate lots of protein to help assist my workout from today.  1 hour to get there 2 hours of working out  2 hours of basketball 2 hours of documentary

So on Tuesday I came to champion facility again which is the name you can see on the bill border  . This day my workout was very intense because of the new workouts that I had to do, most of them were lower body and core because in basketball you really need those things to excel so it was something I liked. After my workout I used most of my day to practice my game on the little basketball court inside so felt like I really did get a lot of work today.
